GOAL!

Miss L enjoys playing sports. So far in her short life she's mostly enjoyed gymnastics and swimming and so far those have been largely individual endeavors. As her ability to play sports has grown so has her desire and this spring she asked if she could play soccer. Actually, she asked, "Can I play that one where you run and kick a ball?"

I looked and all of the soccer teams were in their "late" (expensive) registration phases. I did find a class at a local recreation center that fit the bill and that seemed like a better choice anyhow. We figured that then if she didn't like it, she wasn't stuck playing it for an entire season. We enrolled her and decided to see how things went.

Miss L enjoyed her soccer class. I think she really enjoyed that there was another "L" in her class. We enjoyed going as a family to her practices and it just might morph into being on an actual team next year!
