We had a really good week with a hiccup in the middle. On Wednesday night Sweet baby L came down with a terrible cough and stopped sleeping through the night. (BUMMER!) Wednesday night she slept in her carrier because she simply couldn't keep from coughing when flat on her back. By Saturday she was much better although she still coughing now and again.
We are continuing to enjoy our playroom. The exersaucer is now the only place that I can put sweet baby L and know that she'll stay just where she is, but that's okay with her because she thinks it's awfully fun!

We now have an almost constant companion with us. I think poor James (the cat) has become so fed up with the lack of attention that he's following me wherever I go in hopes for even just a little love. He's been sleeping at my side too, so I'm trying to spread the love around when I can.

My mother's birthday was this week, and she decided that she'd really like to visit us to celebrate. We were thrilled! We had a wonderful visit and sweet baby L loved seeing her Mawmaw and Pawpaw and being super showered with attention.

We tried some new foods this week. Sweet baby L tried some cooked and strained peaches on Thursday evening. She was okay with them, but I'm betting she'll like peaches better in a couple of months when they are more in season. The five of us went to brunch on Saturday, and I ordered a huge fruit salad. Sweet baby L is getting to be very interested while we eat. She stares at us and looks like a hungry puppy. I had some mango in my salad and fork mashed it and offered some to her. She LOVED the mango. She ate most of what I had and then still wanted more! We have purchased a couple of mangoes and are just waiting for them to ripen before we puree and have them to eat! Today we tried plain yogurt (store-bought) and Lily was NOT a fan. I think it was too tart. I'm going to try making my own tomorrow and making it a bit less tart (by incubating it for a shorter period of time). She also tried sweet potatoes this evening and really enjoyed them!

Have a great week everyone! We'll see you next Monday!
