Knowing what the cost was for our procedures, I know that a transplant and preceding hospital stay, relocation, transfer to mechanical heart, life support, etc, must have been incredibly expensive. My cousin Amy and her family have been blessed by friends and family and also the Village Inn of Tulsa. They have had change jars at their restaurants and now they are participating in a fundraiser to help with Logan's medical costs. They are selling cards for $10.00 for pies from the Village Inn this holiday season to help defray some of Logan's medical costs. Please read more about it on her blog found here.
Just as an update, Logan gets to go home on November 20th! I can't wait to see that miracle boy soon after!
(P.S. The pies are really good. If we lived there, we'd be purchasing several.)
