Canapalooza 2012

From August 6th (posted for my family on google plus, but copied here :o):

Two weekends. Three visits to the orchard. Two visits to the farmer's market. One visit to the grocery store.

 4 half-pints of ketchup
5 half pints of pineapple and peach jam with mint
1 half pint of peach infused granny smith applesauce (byproduct of jam making)
5 half pints of classic peach jam
6 half pints of spiced peach jam with wine infused raisins
5 pints of peach and cilantro salsa
6 pints of crushed tomatoes with basil
14 pints of crushed tomatoes
24 pints of all-purpose tomato sauce
5 pints garden patch salsa
6 pints quickest kosher dills
4 pints dilly beans
3 half pints fiery yellow pepper salsa (which has turned out to be not so fiery!)
3 pints rambo and granny smith applesauce (of which two are gone already)

Still to come:
5 quarts of fermented pickles (seen in the large glass crock on the counter - they'll be ready in about 3 weeks)
3 half pints of bruschetta
4 half pints of southwest salsa
5 pints of charred tomato and chile salsa
4 half pints of ketchup

I think we've already put back 6 half pints of strawberry jam, 3 half pints of strawberry syrup, 2 half pints of strawberry butter (by-product of strawberry syrup), 6 pints of honeyed bread and butter pickles (known affectionately as crack pickles in our house) and 6 jars of classic pickle relish (a bit of which I am consuming as we speak along with homemade mayo in my egg salad and wasa crackers).

Not a bad haul! I can't wait to put all the pretty jars in my cabinets!
