A Day at the Fire Department

A couple of times a year our fire department holds an open house and this fall we were able to go. This year they had a passport that you needed to have stamped at each activity to receive a shirt at the end of the day. Of course, we got ours all stamped up!

Here we are at the stop, drop and roll demonstration. I love how they are waiting on their spots. :o)

 

Sweet little man is already pretty good at stop, drop and roll.

 

They learned a little karate, too.

 

We did face painting too. I love those curls!

 

 

AND... we got to suit up and put out a fire with a real fire hose.

 

Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without some cotton candy. YAY!
