Disney is hard on anyone, grown or young. It's a lot of fun, but it's also a lot of work. Going to the park is work. Walking from ride to ride is work. Simply navigating to find a bathroom is work. We were having SOOOO much fun, but on Wednesday we were tired.
When Aunt Mary and cousin K planned a day to go to Universal Studios to see Harry Potter and Spiderman, we opted to stay back at the house for a day. Brad went with them, of course, so that he could ride some very scary roller roasters. :o)
We started the day swimming while Mawmaw played with sweet little man inside. We were lucky that while we were in Florida it wasn't too hot (at least on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), but the water in the pool was warm enough. I really enjoyed spending that time with the kids just playing in the water and relaxing. We showered and ate some lunch and wanted to play outside just a little bit longer so we got out the sidewalk chalk and played on the patio.
Mister W had to show off his digger shirt. Miss L felt the same way about her Rocknoceros shirt when she was the same age and if this shirt is clean (or sometimes if it isn't) it's what we wear.
What a fun break in our week!
We even took naps that afternoon. After everyone got back to the house we went to Cafe Tu Tu Tango for dinner. My goodness that place is tasty!
